Is Astro better than WordPress?

For speed and security, usually yes. WordPress is better when your team wants to build and edit pages freely or the site needs a large plugin ecosystem. We build both and recommend one at scoping, based on what your site has to do.

Will a static site rank on Google?

Yes. Static pages are the easiest pages for Google to crawl, and speed is a ranking factor. Every build includes headings, structured data, a sitemap and Search Console set up.

Can my team still edit the website?

Yes. We connect a headless CMS or a simple editor so your team can change text, images and posts. Layout changes go through us, which keeps the design intact.
