My site's been hacked - can you help?

Yes, call us. Emergency fixes are a core service: we diagnose fast, clean it properly, get you back online and then put protection in place so it doesn't happen again - even if we didn't build the site.

Do you look after websites you didn't build?

Yes. We start with an audit so we know exactly what we're taking on, fix anything urgent, then bring it under normal care. Plenty of the sites we look after started life elsewhere.

Can you move my site without downtime or lost rankings?

Yes - migrations are planned, tested and executed with redirects done right, DNS handled carefully and rankings watched through the cutover. Moving hosts or platforms shouldn't cost you your search presence.

Bring in another partner and you earn a second tier: 2% on every job their referrals pay for. It costs the client nothing extra and it never comes out of your 8%.

What You Earn

Real numbers, no fine print.

Commission is a straight percentage of what the client pays Balar. Here is what that looks like on typical jobs.

Custom websites

A $5,000 website earns you $400. A $12,000 eCommerce build earns you $960. Paid as each instalment is paid.

Second tier

Introduce a partner and earn 2% on their referrals. On that same $5,000 website your partner earns $400 and you earn $100.

SEO retainers

8% of the monthly fee for the first 12 months. A $2,600 a month SEO client pays you $208 every month for a year.

Hosting & care plans

Referred clients who take a Balar care plan earn you 8% of the plan for the first 12 months, on top of the build commission.

Web apps & portals

Bigger builds, same percentage. Custom portals, booking systems and integrations are all commissionable.

When do I get paid?

Commission is calculated on every invoice the client actually pays and paid out monthly on the 15th for the previous month, by bank transfer.

Is there a minimum or a cap?

No minimum and no cap. One referral a year or one a week, you earn 8% on every job that comes from you.

What counts as a referral?

A business that is not already a Balar client and that comes to us through your partner link, or that you introduce to us by name before they enquire. We tag them to you in our system so nothing gets lost.

How does the 2% second tier work?

If you introduce another partner, you earn 2% on every job their referrals pay for. On a $5,000 website your partner earns $400 and you earn $100 for making the introduction.

Do I need an ABN?

If you have one, you invoice us for your commission. If you do not, we issue a recipient created tax invoice on your behalf so you still get paid.

Can my company be the partner?

Yes. Accountants, bookkeepers, trades suppliers, printers, photographers, IT providers and consultants all sign up as a business and the commission is paid to the business.

What if the client cancels?

Commission follows the money. If a client is refunded within 30 days of paying, that commission is reversed. Nothing is ever clawed back from a job the client kept.

Can I refer myself or my own business?

No. The program pays for introductions to other businesses. Your own work with Balar is priced the same as everyone else.
